Uipath Business Analyst (Programming background) - Remote

About This Role
The Process Automation Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, analyzing, standardizing, designing, and testing the automated solution. The BA will closely work with stakeholders to understand operational workflow(As-is) and develop new operational
workflows with Automation(to-be).

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage the process improvement\standardization approach and Intelligent
  • Automation to streamline, optimize, automate and scale the existing process.
  • Work closely with business units to determine automation opportunities by analyzing,
  • understanding, and documenting the ‘As-is’ business processes.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create Process Design Document(PDD) along with “to-be” operationalize workflow(Maintainable & Sustainable) with consideration of compliance, security, audit, etc.
  • Perform data analysis on existing operations, identify KPIs and report on the
  • performance of the automated workflow to explain trends and results compared to the current metrics.
  • Create and maintain test cases, liaison between business stakeholders and the
  • Automation team, and support testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing, and UAT.
  • Contribute to project/automation delivery meetings to ensure that potential impacts, risks, issues, gaps, and assumptions are captured, analyzed, and understood.
  • Maintain requirements and facilitate change management.

Technical and Communication Skills
  • A solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle(SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • A high-level understanding of software architecture and design patterns is preferred.
  • A good understanding of any programming languages like C# or JAVA is preferred.
  • Proficient in creating process design documents, analyzing data, and creating test cases with test data(Experience with UiPath test automation suite will be preferred).
  • Well-versed with JIRA and confluence.
  • Strong understanding of database and data models and preferably tools like Alteryx, Power Query, etc.
  • Strong ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data. Proficiency in manipulating data sets in SQL or equivalent and drawing insights from data.
  • An ability to envision (as-is, optimized, and to-be) how an automated solution will be operationalized to meet stakeholder needs along with compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • An understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to illustrate it as a workflow diagram.
  • The ability to work with a structured and systematic approach, combined with an enquiring mind.
  • The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to
  • real-world delivery and mentoring tasks.
  • An aptitude for problem-solving, with the ability to take a logical route to address issues.
  • A self-starter who delivers high-quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Can decide and act without having the total picture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately and succinctly document and report findings to various audiences.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 6-8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years experience as a RPA BA
  • Experience working with a Robotic Process Automation tool, preferably UiPath, is highly desired.
  • Experience with Scrum / Agile development methodologies.
  • Proactive in communicating with team, colleagues, and leadership and are comfortable working with business stakeholders\teams globally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong business acumen in business analysis and requirement management.
  • Understanding of performance measurement and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles.
  • Experience integration Automation solutions with SaaS platforms like SalesForce, NetSuite, Monday.com, and Box.com.
