Technical Designer/Architect- Workday

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Configuration Specialist with expertise in Workday: Time and Attendance, Reporting creation, Recruiting and/or Workday Learning/training modules. This role is responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting Workday solutions that align with business objectives and projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders in the IT Department and the business to ensure the efficient operation of Workday Reporting and Integration functionalities, ensuring the system meets user and organizational needs. Collaborating within the Finance, Cybersecurity and HRIS team is essential to ensure consideration of cross functional impacts.
Workday Projects configuration & support:
  • Lead the configuration and design of Workday modules
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Cybersecurity, IT and PMO teams to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for configuration, integration, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Workday configurations, business processes, notifications, validations, and security within the modules, ensuring proper smoke testing is completed prior to handing over to business owner for testing.
  • Managing of defects, ensuring timely solution management.
  • Support and reporting requirements working closely with other reporting teams.
  • Ensure system integrity by performing regular audits and troubleshooting issues.
  • Support the integration with multiple applications and consolidation of reports from Workday
  • Experience in project management or leading HRIS initiatives preferred.
  • Knowledge transfer and documentation
Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Workday configuration experiences several modules.
  • 5+ years’ experience and/or exposure to HR business and processes
  • Proven experience in configuring and supporting Workday
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strongly familiar with integrations, reporting, and dashboards within Workday.
