L1 EDI Trainee – Technical Support

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Trainee – Level 1 Technical Support professional to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring, support, and resolution of EDI-related issues, working closely with internal teams and external trading partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor EDI transactions and daily processing queues.
  • Identify, log, and escalate EDI transmission issues to L2 support when required.
  • Assist in resolving basic EDI errors related to document transmission (e.g., 850, 810, 856, etc.).
  • Communicate with clients or trading partners regarding basic transmission issues.
  • Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of EDI-related issues.
  • Learn and adapt to different EDI tools, platforms, and protocols (FTP, AS2, VAN, etc.).

Required Skills:
  • Basic understanding of EDI and data formats like X12, EDIFACT (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with XML/CSV/Flat Files.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts or on-call support as needed.

Eligibility & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Quick learner with interest in EDI/technical support.
  • Prior internship or exposure to technical/customer support is a plus.
