Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Trainee – Level 1 Technical Support professional to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring, support, and resolution of EDI-related issues, working closely with internal teams and external trading partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor EDI transactions and daily processing queues.
- Identify, log, and escalate EDI transmission issues to L2 support when required.
- Assist in resolving basic EDI errors related to document transmission (e.g., 850, 810, 856, etc.).
- Communicate with clients or trading partners regarding basic transmission issues.
- Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of EDI-related issues.
- Learn and adapt to different EDI tools, platforms, and protocols (FTP, AS2, VAN, etc.).
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of EDI and data formats like X12, EDIFACT (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with XML/CSV/Flat Files.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts or on-call support as needed.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Quick learner with interest in EDI/technical support.
- Prior internship or exposure to technical/customer support is a plus.
