Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EDI Developer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions. The role involves working closely with internal teams, trading partners, and third-party vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and timely data exchange across business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain EDI maps for standard formats such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, and ANSI

• Onboard and support trading partners, including setup, testing, and production deployment

• Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, acknowledgments (997/999), and error handling

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and partner-specific implementation guides

• Integrate EDI data with ERP, WMS, TMS, and backend systems

• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into EDI solutions

• Perform unit testing, end-to-end testing, and support UAT activities

• Maintain technical documentation, mapping specifications, and partner profiles

• Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure data security, accuracy, and adherence to SLA requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as an EDI Developer or EDI Analyst

• Strong hands-on experience with EDI standards: X12 (850, 810, 856, 940/945, 204, etc.), EDIFACT

• Experience with EDI tools/platforms (any of the following):

  • IBM Sterling

  • OpenText

  • SEEBURGER

  • Boomi

  • MuleSoft

• Experience with communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, HTTP/S

• Good understanding of business processes in Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail, or Manufacturing

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple trading partners
