Dell Boomi Integration Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dell Boomi Integration Architect to lead the design, architecture, and governance of enterprise integration solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API, application, data, cloud, and workflow integrations, and be capable of creating high-level architecture documents, integration roadmaps, and solution blueprints for enterprise-scale initiatives.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, application teams, and technology leaders to define scalable, secure, and reusable integration frameworks. Experience with B2B/EDI integrations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Define enterprise integration architecture and integration strategy using Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions.
  • Establish integration standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Create reusable integration patterns and reference architectures.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and recommend optimal integration approaches.

High-Level Documentation & Solution Design

  • Prepare and maintain:
    • High-Level Design (HLD) documents
    • Solution Architecture Documents (SAD)
    • Integration Architecture Diagrams
    • System Interface Specifications
    • API Design Standards
    • Data Flow Diagrams
    • Technical Roadmaps
    • Deployment and Support Models
  • Present architecture solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Create executive-ready architecture presentations and solution proposals.

API & Application Integration

  • Architect REST and SOAP-based integrations.
  • Design API-led connectivity and microservices integration patterns.
  • Define security, authentication, and access control standards.
  • Lead integrations involving Salesforce, Azure, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, NetSuite, and other enterprise applications.

Data Integration & Cloud Connectivity

  • Architect data synchronization, migration, and transformation solutions.
  • Define integration approaches for cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure data quality, scalability, reliability, and security.

Boomi B2B/EDI Architecture (Preferred)

  • Architect EDI and B2B integration solutions.
  • Design integrations supporting:
    • X12
    • EDIFACT
    • AS2
    • SFTP
    • Trading Partner Management
  • Guide onboarding and connectivity strategies for business partners.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the technical lead for integration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and business leaders.
  • Mentor Boomi developers and integration engineers.
  • Review solution designs and ensure adherence to architecture standards.

Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Define monitoring, logging, exception handling, and security frameworks.
  • Establish CI/CD and deployment standards for integration platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of integration experience with at least 3+ years in an Architect role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise integration architectures.
  • Experience in API Management, Middleware, and Integration Platforms.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and architecture frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
