Job Description
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree/MBA or equivalent work experience in wholesale or retail environments;
  • A minimum of five (5) years of broad/diverse background and experience in business and data analysis.
  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience leading and managing business and IT projects of increasing complexity and size and at least one project with a significant component of organizational change management and ability to successfully drive completion of business and technology deliverables to schedule and budget;
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated expertise in large-scale, cross- functional projects, processes and systems related to supply chain management, retail, wholesale, POS, logistics and warehouse management, product lifecycle management, Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”);
  • Experience in e-Commerce, merchandising, and web retail;
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the supply chain, logistics and distribution centre as well as warehouse management, wholesale and retail business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance;
  • Be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented;
  • Excellent expertise in performing business process analysis and creating business requirements specifications;
  • Expertise in business process modeling techniques;
  • The ability to facilitate to-be distribution centre operations business process working sessions with user community and obtain agreed to functional/design requirements;
  • Excellent business process documentation skills;
  • The ability to apply project standards and to deliver assigned tasks within scope and schedule;
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills;
  • The ability to quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization;
  • Expertise in software development lifecycles (e.g.: Agile);
  • Expertise in enterprise frameworks and delivery methodologies such as Agile;
  • Familiar with testing tools;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Visio;
  • The ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships with internal with all levels of the organization as well as with external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and coordination across functions;
  • The ability to act as liaison conveying information in suitably accurate models between the business units and their counterparts within information technology; and
  • Exceptional communication skills and demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as presentations and visual aids.
