Role Description
  • Demonstrated experience developing business applications
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle Forms & Reports
  • Demonstrated experience working with PL/SQL
  • Demonstrated experience using Visual Source Safe, SVN, and/or StarTeam version control tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical diploma
  • Demonstrated experience providing mentorship and guidance in a lead technical role.
  • Candidate will supply a valid MSDN/Visual Studio License for engagement
Demonstrated experience with the following technologies:
•             Java.
•             Oracle Forms and Reports.
•             Oracle ADF
•             Data Warehousing (Discoverer).
•             Oracle eBusiness Suite.
•             Oracle Financials
•             Fine Grained Access for Oracle
  • Though experience in at least one of the technologies is required, preference may be given to candidates demonstrating experience in all of the technologies above.
  • This requirement will be weighted heavily during scored evaluation of candidate submissions.
Demonstrated experience with the following technologiest:
•             XML
•             J2EE
•             Oracle Database
  • Demonstrated experience with  troubleshooting, root cause analysis and solving problems in integrated environments and within SLA guidelines
  • Proven record of achievement as a Developer/Administrator with excellent skills in managing systems development, estimating, planning and scheduling project activities and team resources
  • Successful completion of application development/ deployment projects Candidate to provide details of the project, timeframe and their role/responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated  experience working effectively with all levels within an organization to understand business priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization including demonstrated experience effectively communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical, internal and external stakeholders (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining technical documentation including but not limited to functional specifications, release plans and release notes (cite specific examples).
  • Demonstrated experience working under pressure on multiple projects, often with conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience working independently; being professional, and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with Quality Assurance methods and processes
  • Demonstrated experience working within the Public Sector is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience with various government programs and supporting of the applications is considered an asset.
