Job Description 
 
As a Software Engineer within the IT Enterprise Marketing team you will part of an Agile team delivering technology solutions to support the clients marketing organization’s strategic priorities.  Your primary goal will be to design, deliver, and support fully integrated solutions that are enable Client’s lead generation activities.  You’ll work on unique enterprise challenges in a large, complex environment. 
 
You will be focused on delivering enterprise solutions across the marketing landscape focused on the marketing automation areas of lead scoring, nurture email programs, and data enrichment integrated directly with the overall lead flow into the corporate CRM system.  You must have a passion for technology, process, and a demonstrated sense of curiosity to work through complex technical, data, and process challenges at an enterprise scale.  You’ll work closely with our team of analysts, developers, QA, and product owners in North America and India in designing, developing, operating and supporting leading edge enterprise marketing experiences. 
  
What you’ll do 
  • Develop business-critical solutions using the marketing automation platform, Adobe Campaign.  
  • Build integrations between applications using HTTP, Snaplogic, Splunk, JSON and RESTful design principles 
  • Become an expert in our platforms and actively contribute to their improvement  
  • Collaborate with business partners, architects, technical leads, and analysts to develop clean, high-quality deliverables with crisp, concise documentation. 
  • Work as part of an Agile-scrum team to consistently deliver business relevant features, maintaining and owning whatever you deliver 
  • Proven experience using structured, disciplined approaches to solving technical, data, and logical problems.  
What you need to succeed 
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development or IT 
  • Strong fundamentals in an object-oriented language like Java; Familiarity with client-side technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML 
  • Strong RDMBS experience. 
  • Background in web services and systems integrations using HTTP and RESTful design principles 
  • Solid understanding of software development models, web technologies, database concepts and modern service oriented architectures. 
  • Understanding of version control systems like GitHub and Perforce 
  • Understanding of build tools like Jenkins, Maven, and ANT is a plus. 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills  
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. 
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and interest in learning new technologies, platforms, business processes. 
  • Attention to detail with a proactive mindset and the ability to work as part of a global team. 
  • Proficiency with use of story/sprint tracking tools such as JIRA or equivalent a plus. 
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in supporting & implementing applications 
  • Preferred 1+ years’ experience with integrations between hosted services and on premise enterprise applications. 
  • Preferred 1+ years’ experience supporting Marketing business functions. 
  • Preferred 1+ years’ experience with the Agile methodology. 
  • Salesforce.com experience highly desired.
