Job Description 
  • Our Client is seeking a consultant to manage this collection of enterprise projects and potentially support additional concurrent strategic change projects. Projects will be managed using PMI’s project management framework and will follow PROSCI’s change management methodology. 
  • Working as part of an interdisciplinary project team the Project Manager may be requested to: 
  • Manage project management areas (scope, time, cost, risk, quality etc.) of the projects; 
  • Work with subject matter experts to successfully scope and deliver the projects; 
  • Produce all internal project team communications according to the communication plan and as required; 
  • Apply Project Management best practices within the current project management environment; 
  • Work with communication and change management designates to create stakeholder-specific communications throughout the life-cycle of the project; 
  • Identify and prepare mitigation strategies for project risks; 
  • Ensure project delivery is fit for use within the organization (the organization can adopt the change as intended and all supports are in place); 
  • Ensure project work includes development of implementation supports for the changes including training, guides, and documentation. 
  • Work with Change Management designate to monitor stakeholder response to project issues and be able to respond accordingly; 
  • Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders; 
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects as required. 
As stated above, this project will require a sophisticated consultant skilled in project management, managing change, facilitation, communications, planning and execution of multidisciplinary change projects. 
Previous experience in project management with a focus on project communication, change management / methodology would be an asset. The successful bidder will have significant and relevant experience and expertise directly related to change related projects. The selected vendor should: 
 Be certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or have related equivalent training. 
 Be a strong communicator with experience as a facilitator of a multi-disciplinary team. 
 Be capable of working with interdisciplinary teams. 
 Be proficient with project life cycle and project management terminology. 
 Be capable of communicating to a project team with limited project management experience. 
 Be familiar with change management methodologies (ex. PROSCI). 
 Be flexible in availability to accommodate varying workloads. 
 Be a conceptual, flexible thinker. 
 Be timely and responsive to project needs. 
 Be capable of managing multiple concurrent projects 
 Be familiar with Government or NGO work environments and cultures. 
 Be capable in Microsoft Office and SharePoint or willingness to learn new technology.
