Job Requirements:
The Client is looking for Senior Business Analysts to work with the Strategic Systems and Innovation branch (SSI), dedicated to the IJIMS (Integrated Justice Information Management Systems) portfolio of projects. These resources should have extensive experience in business analysis and testing, with data analysis experience and change management skills an asset. The resources will participate in various projects focused on delivering appropriate and innovative solutions to Ministry of Justice stakeholders. These resources will also assist with setting up industry standard processes and procedures within the Ministry and ensuring that project best practices are followed. The resources will also be expected to provide coaching and mentorship to existing JU employees, thereby expanding the current skill set and capacity of the SSI branch. 

Duties of the Resource may include, but are not necessarily limited to: 
• Manage, control, execute and close all assigned projects; 
• Mentor and coach Ministry resources; 
• Develop repeatable, best practice standards and processes; 
• Work with stakeholders and service providers to ensure that business requirements are correctly identified and documented, validating system integration and interface requirements; 
• Assist with business change management processes; 
• Facilitate business workshops; 
• Document user manuals, processes, and procedures; 
• Coordinate and oversee testing processes and results, ensuring that testing methods conform to best practices; 
• Assist with projects related to virtual data exchange; 
• Create, document and execute project test plans; 
• Ensure quality assurance practices are being followed, leveraging expertise from development and business teams; 
• Ensure delivery of quality solutions and fulfill business needs and support day-to-day operations; 
• Coordinate and periodically assume responsibility for work over others; 
• Write business cases; 
• Other duties as assigned.
