Position Overview

The Starlight Marketing Technical Program Manager is a results-oriented leader with 7+ years of project and program management experience in the Marketing and Sales application areas of IT. This position calls for exceptional planning and technical capabilities. The Program Manager is expected to have successfully managed multiple applications development programs from start to completion. The Program Manager will be responsible for driving communication, planning, measurement and decision processes within the team and in partnership with key stakeholder organizations. Their work will have a direct impact on the effectiveness and delivery of Project Starlight; implementing MS Dynamics CRM interfaced to supporting systems including Adobe Campaign. The Program Manager will be a liaison to and work as part of a cross-functional team with counterparts on Project Starlight, Cloud Technology, Cloud Operations, Global marketing, Creative Cloud, Marketing Cloud and others. He/She will be responsible to improve collaboration, communication, execution and alignment with core teams and other critical stakeholders for the assigned project. In addition, the Program Manager should have deep experience working with Application/Product Engineering and Cloud-based teams that employ scrum. 


  • Partner with Program Leadership, Directors, Managers, Product Managers and Program Manager peers to drive and help define a multi-cycle business capabilities roadmap& strategic vision for the program
  • Develop deep relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives and goals and translate those needs into direction for capabilities for overall planning purposes
  • Reach across Cloud Technology team boundaries understanding dependencies, capacities and constraints building that into the program roadmap
  • Effectively manage change and risk, partnering with other teams and stakeholders to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication and alignment occurs, plans are appropriately adjusted to reflect expected, potential fluctuations in goals and requirements.
  • Effectively present information to technical or non-technical audiences ranging from team level meetings through to Senior Leadership briefs and updates
  • Maintain a big-picture perspective; linking Adobe strategic direction/roadmap to program execution
  • Track, identify, and resolve program interdependencies, risks/issues, milestones, and deliverables across various project tracks to ensure successful project implementation and rollout.
  • Prepare and maintain program dashboards, status reports, Steering Committee/Executive briefings, SLC (Service Life Cycle) check point artifacts along with all program level communications
  • Determine resource requirements for the program in partnership with Service Owners and drive the process to secure funding and resources
  • Manage external vendors as required for program delivery through contracting, delivery, payment and roll-off.

Skills Needed

  • 7+ years of technical leadership and program management experience in large enterprises, preferably in sales/marketing enablement (Adobe Campaign, MS Dynamics or SFDC)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects/areas simultaneously
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential
  • Strong communication & meeting facilitation skills, including a solid background in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals up and down the org, balanced with the ability to absorb large amounts of information and distill it down to the essentials
  • Crisp/concise documentation skills including leadership readouts, presentations, & road maps
  • Able to drive & execute independently with little to no guidance
  • A planner who brings order to chaos and determine what needs to get done in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with remote team members across multiple time zones
  • Adept in working with collaboration tools such a JIRA and SharePoint
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools specifically Agile/Scrum
