Job Description 
The Resource(s) will be responsible for configuration, customization and maintenance, testing and support of the Department’s Project Server environment(s). Reporting to the Director of the Project Management Office and Project Delivery section, the Resource(s) will work under the direction and supervision of a Team Lead or Manager. 
The application environment consists of SharePoint 2013 and 2016 with Project Server running on Intel boxes utilizing Microsoft operating systems, Windows 10 Clients, and MS SQL Server. 
The Resource(s) require strong SharePoint design experience, with HTML, CSS, and SharePoint Designer. They must have Server Administrator experience and the capability to develop and provide end user support for new and existing SharePoint and Project Server/Project Web App (PWA) Projects. 
The Resource(s) will be responsible to configure and administer multiple Project Server PWA sites in an existing SharePoint configuration. 
Supervisory duties are not required at this time, although the successful Resource(s) may be responsible for providing direction on projects and/or tasks. 
The successful candidate(s) must possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience in communicating directly with the client community, along with a proven ability to function within a team. Resources must also possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Education and past experience should be in keeping with that required to fully understand the technical aspects of the tasks. 


Resource Requirements: 
Reporting directly to the Team Lead or Manager and indirectly to the Director, Project Management Office & Project Delivery, and the resource must be able to provide requirements gathering, configuration, development and testing of customizations to the Departments SharePoint/Project Server Project Portfolio Management solution. 
The Resource(s) require strong SharePoint design experience with HTML, CSS, and SharePoint Designer. They must have Server Administrator experience and the capability to configure, administer and develop new and existing SharePoint PWA environments. 
The Resource(s) may be responsible for installing, configuring and administering multiple SharePoint servers as well as Microsoft IIS web servers. 
Supervisory duties are not required at this time, although the successful Resource(s) may be responsible for providing direction on projects and/or tasks. 
The successful candidate(s) must possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience in communicating directly with the client community, along with a proven ability to function within a team. The Resource(s) must also possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. 

Responsibilities may include: 
- Creation and modification of Enterprise Project Types (EPT) 
- Creation and modification of Project Detail Pages 
- Creation and modification of Project Schedule Templates 
- Creation and modification of Project Server Workflow Phases, Stages and Workflows 
- Project Server Administration including Permissions, Custom Field Creation and View Creation 
- Understanding of Project Server 2013 Reporting Schema 
- SSRS report development and implementation 
- Administering Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013 and 2016 
- Administrating Microsoft Project Server 2013 and 2016 
- Adhering to quality assurance guidelines and maintain quality assurance on all deliverables 
- Preparing and delivering training programs on SharePoint/Project Server for the Department 
- Managing security on sites following a standard framework. 
- Developing custom workflows and web parts 
- Performing troubleshooting activities 
- Status reporting to team leader as required 
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision required 
- Identifying client requirements and specifying resulting system development/modifications 
- Providing impact analysis and estimates for development activities 
- Managing timelines 
- Collaborating with other IT and business units 
- Be responsive to problems from other developers and team members 
- Performing testing as required 
- Providing on call support after regular business hours on an as needed basis
