Position Functions and Responsibilities:
The Webops L3 Projects team is responsible for deployment and upgrade projects in all EC Platform products (Apache, Tomcat, Websphere, zookeeper, Lightstreamer, Stunnel, IIS, Gemfire etc), that spans from intranet Web farms, middleware to DMZ Client facing technology hosting platform. 
The Projects team is also responsible to work with Engineering teams to onboard new products onto operational space, provide operational testing and signoff, document technical details and processes and train operational staffs in L2 and L3 operational teams. 
In summary, the main responsibilities include but not limited to the following:?
  • Work on deployment and upgrade projects in all EC Platform Products areas (Apach, Tomcat, Websphere. Lightstreamer, Zookeeper, Stunnel, IIS, Gemfire etc);?
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot deployment issues in all technology platform including network/load balancer;?
  • Work with Engineering teams on infrastructure related problems;?
  • Work with Application teams on application related problems and gather requirements and feedback from application side and provide solutions with Engineering teams;?
  • Work on Project plans and provide regular updates.?
  • Acts as key resource in the deployment and maintenance of new systems to keep the system environment stable and interruptions to a minimal multi-tiered environments;?
  • Conduct system analysis to keep systems/products current with changing technologies and work with Engineering teams in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development;?
  • Recommend and implement modifications to server environment, including troubleshooting and problem solving and resolutions;
Typical Years of Experience:
Typically requires 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Minimum Education and Certifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of system software/hardware, networks, and operating systems;
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Linux and/or Windows environment;
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills;
  • Strong knowledge of processes and tools utilized for system management, problem reporting, change management, and project management;
  • Strong interpersonal and customer services
