About the Role:
As a Sr. Cloud Engineer, you will be working as part of a cross-functional product team and will be responsible for design & architecture of AWS environments, migrating applications to AWS, designing and implementing end to end CI/CD pipelines, test automation, infrastructure automation and configuration activities.
Job Duties in Brief:
  • Migrate existing applications to AWS
  • Architecture & Development of new application in AWS
  • Design and implement end to end CI/CD Delivery pipelines for infrastructure and applications
  • Set up and troubleshoot AWS environments
  • Design, build, test, and deploy highly scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure
  • Contribute in the architecting and implementation of cloud-based solutions
  • Implement logging and monitoring solutions
  • Perform code reviews
  • Travel occasionally to other locations for business.
About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 10+ years in IT or Software Engineering including2+ years in AWS cloud environment
  • Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience
  • Experience with AWS Core Services: EC2, ECS, ELB, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM
  • Experience in working with various database systems (Oracle, SQ Server) and proficiency in SQL
  • Experience in setting up and troubleshooting AWS production environments
  • Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying highly scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure
  • Experience designing and implementing end to end CI/CD Delivery pipelines
  • Programming Languages: Python, Java, Node JS, C++ - Highly proficient in at least 1
  • Configuration management using CloudFormation, Ansible, AWS Config, OpsWorks
  • Practical knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium, JUnit, Mocha
  • Code management and versioning using Git
  • Advanced hands-on skills operating in Linux and Windows 
  • Proven knowledge of application architecture, networking, security, reliability and scalability concepts
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of software design principles and patterns; Successful delivery of long duration and high complexity software projects
  • Business experience: Prior experience in financial services and alternative investments a plus
  • Design: Expertise with Microservices architecture, Domain Driven Design concepts, Cloud Application Design patterns and frameworks (for e.g. service discovery, circuit breaker, and 12 factor apps).
  • SDLC: Expertise with Agile development methodologies; scrum leadership a plus; Lead code reviews;
  • Containers: Expertise with Container and Container Management frameworks. (for e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm) and Container based PaaS offerings
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the following competencies: Creativity, technical analysis, and problem solving, communication, multitasking and client service.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven. Strong ability to work with in house resources and vendors
  • Comfortable with code reviews
