We are hiring for:

Position: DevOps SME
Location: O’Fallon, MO
Duration: 2 Months to start (Initial couple of weeks onsite followed by remote)

 
Travel expenses paid by client
 
Role:
Deep expertise in CI/CD with:
Jenkins
Maven
Git
Groovy and general automation scripting
Integrating with REST/SOAP APIs using tools like curl

Client really needs someone who is a Jenkins “rockstar" with substantial experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins files. They need to be advanced engineers with solid experience in Jenkins security considerations, scripting in groovy, deep experience with GIT and Maven, usage of testing tools from Jenkins pipelines, invoking external SOAP/REST APIs from the pipeline using basic auth, handling rollback scenarios.
 
Skills:
•             Establishing CI/CD pipelines
o             Build and deploy
o             Rollback of deploy
•             Developing automation scripts in a variety of popular DevOps scripting languages
•             Developing/administering DataPower devices - required as background to understand what the pipeline needs to do - very important for this customer.
•             Understand architecture of DataPower high-availability environment
•             Consulting role i.e. comfortable working with a customer to understand their requirements (whiteboard solution with customer), constraints; come up with a design; implement and test; rollout solution
•             Ability to explain and motivate design decisions using required tools
•             Understanding of how to test DataPower applications - experience enough to suggest tools and approach
•             Experience of working in an agile team using sprints
•             Experience of packaging up automation as a container image (preferred, but not essential)
