Tangentia Global Services( IT Staffing division of Tangentia) is looking for an IT Delivery Manager to be based in Toronto for a major Canadian Internet company.

Job Description
The selected candidate would plan, direct and coordinate activities of assigned projects to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished within approved time frame, scope and budget.  Independently and effectively manages assigned projects. There will be multiple projects affecting Enterprise applications.

Detailed Job Functions
  • Manage the full delivery of a new Supplier Risk Management application
  • Initiate projects and manage the definition of high level scope.
  • Recommend best solutions incorporating build, buy or wait based on understanding of business issues.
  • Develop integrated baseline project plans adapting estimating models as required, documents estimating assumptions, refines plans and manages performance against them.
  • Provide schedule and cost forecasts including risk based provisions.
  • Manage project scope/requirement changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions.
  • Determine quality standards and oversee the execution/production of project deliverables (including production implementations) and management documents
  • Identify and resolve/escalate potential conflicts between long-term architecture direction and project constraints.
  • Collaborate with colleagues/stakeholders across the organization to get things done.
  • Recommend external vendors and third parties and manages the relationships at the project level.

Prerequisites for the job
Must have
  • Demonstrated leadership ability managing projects over > $5M total budget
  • 5 years or more of Project Management Experience
  • 1 or more years of Scrum Master Experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience managing direct reporting staff of 3 or more
