Requirement
  • Strong Computer Science background and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • 3+ years experience in a Scrum Master role or in an Agile team (solid experience in Jira or similar tool)
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise software development processes and lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this technical knowledge in a dynamic environment using Agile development
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, relationship building, organization, and time-management skills
  • Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies and values as well as the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to adapt, be flexible, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Own and drive timelines - either product releases and/or other key initiatives - by creating and maintaining schedules (including key deliverables, milestones, and dependencies), understanding the deliverables and the progress toward each milestone, and identifying and driving resolution of all project issues
  • Effectively manage change and risk, partnering with the team to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication occurs, and plans are intelligently adjusted to reflect necessary fluctuations in goals and requirements as business needs change
  • Solid Experience in developing Java based web apps and distributed systems
  • Broad Knowledge of Java applications servers (JBoss, Tomcat), integration patterns and JEE stack (JMS, websocket…) andJava open source ecosystem (Spring, Spring Cloud, Netflix libraries, HazelCache , activemq … )
  • Experience in designing and developing scalable and distributed RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of enterprise security (thread modelling, encryption) and web based auth required (Saml, oAuth2, certificate based)
  • Solid foundation in software engineering process and best practices (Git, code review, unit testing, automated functional testing and performance testing, build automation, etc)
  • Experience in designing and running stress, load, scalability and performance tests on web applications and backend systems a plus (experience with Gatling and Scala would be ideal)
  • Experience in Continuous Integration and continuous deployment and configuration management (Splunk, Maven, Jenkins and Chef) is a plus
  • Experience developing hybrid mobile applications (ionic, phonegap)
  • Experience developing applications using Adobe technologies is a plus, specifically AEM, AEM Mobile
  • Experience with SQL and noSQL Database technologies (Mongo)
  • Experience with Javascript, Nodejs and Electron would be a plus

Responsibilities: 
  • Work closely with other team members in an Agile environment to develop top quality applications and services that solve actual business and technology problems
  • Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives for 1-2 cross-functional Scrum teams
  • Design & implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications, while keeping a strong customer focus
  • Perform development tasks, including design & architecture, coding and troubleshooting software
  • Deploy new releases and ensure production stability. Collaborate with other functional groups or teams to ensure project success
  • Coordinate product development activities throughout every phase of the project
  • Identify and remove impediments, and prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal
  • Communicate key performance information - monitor and communicate team velocity, burn-down, and other key metrics
  • Provide visibility to team status and issues to senior management
  • Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation
  • Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase productivity.
