Marketing Operations Specialist

 Responsibilities

Now
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Marketing Automation programs (Adobe Campaign)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot data import / exports from related systems (Oracle DB, MDPD)
  • The ideal candidate will be someone who is a creative problem solver, that is highly resourceful in getting things done, and works well individually and collaboratively as a team
  • work closely with the Marketing Database team, Analysts, and CloudTech teams to deliver projects/capabilities to our internal customers
  • Understanding the integrations between Adobe Campaign and our marketing data warehouse to help provide inputs on process improvements and implement features to enhance reporting and monitoring in order to deliver the highest level of service.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on data flows and dependencies to enable faster impact analysis & changes when upstream changes occur

Later:
  • You will be the customer advocate and will work through the management teams to prioritize projects to optimize value for the Global Marketing Organization aligning to Company and Department focus areas
  • Gather requirements, create business specifications to develop new capabilities
  • Recommend marketing technical and tactic and process best practices to help our marketers meet and exceed their goals and expectations for user experiences

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical study (Engineering, Computer Science) or Marketing or MBA
  • 2+ years in a consulting or Administrator role for a Marketing Automation Platform – e.g. Adobe Campaign [preferred] , Eloqua, Exact Target, Aprimo, Unica, Marketo.
  • Good understanding of relational schemas, tables and data structures
  • Basic Knowledge of Oracle SQL with the ability to join and transform data from multiple sources for analysis & troubleshooting
  • Experience with Marketing and pre-sales process
  • Strong analysis skills: you are superb at breaking down problems into logical steps.
  • Strong data-driven approach in decision making (via KPIs and metrics)
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills (we emphasize team collaboration) - can convey technical concepts to non-technical people as well as turn non-technical requirements into technical specifications. Experience creating meaningful reports that accurately convey insights to marketers without requiring interpretation.
  • Ability to design and navigate through conflicting priorities, turning ambiguity into clarity in a fast-changing environment.
  • You need to be a great problem solver - we like to hire people who can think through problems and develop solutions quickly

Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of reporting & BI tools like Tableau
  • Knowledge of other database platforms like Hadoop, Redshift, and HANA
