  • Metadata Asset Manager
  • Build data governance Policies
  • Manage lifecycle of metadata
  • Use REST and open APIs
  • Metadata migration
  • Extended data sources and mappings
  • Manage multi-language environment configuration
  • Custom lineage reports, subscriptions, deployment architectures
  • Troubleshoot issues
Roles & Responsibilities    
  • Define users, roles, access levels, Catalog permissions, Custom attributes and custom views
  • Design and build category hierarchy for business vocabulary and governance policies
  • Configure and execute data and business lineage
  • Create and manage workflow, operational metadata, extended data sources and mappings
  • Import preexisting business metadata
  • Import and export data using the rest API
  • Support common metadata migration
  • Create, import, export, and run queries
  • Manage lifecycle of metadata
  • Troubleshoot issues using system logs, operations console
  • Define and assign labels, stewards, data classes
  • Differentiate between business metadata, technical metadata, and operational metadata
  • Design and manage collections, external asset types
  • Link business and technical metadata
  • Link design-time metadata to implementation metadata
  • Import asset definitions using Metadata Asset Manager
  • Manage multi-language environment configuration
  • Import asset definitions using command line tools
