QA Engineer - Manual and Selenium Automation Testing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure they meet specified requirements.
Create and maintain detailed, well-structured test cases and test plans to cover all aspects of the software under test.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency and accuracy.
Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and monitor software performance over multiple releases.
Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Continuously improve and enhance the existing testing processes and methodologies to optimize testing efforts.
Participate in regular team meetings and provide valuable insights and suggestions to improve the overall quality and reliability of our products.
Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and technologies to bring in best practices and innovative approaches to the QA process.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven work experience of at least 4 years as a QA Engineer, with a focus on both manual and Selenium automation testing.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and proficiency in test automation using Java.
Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.
Experience in testing web and mobile applications on various browsers and devices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are a plus.
