Job Description
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
  • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Demonstrated experience as a practicing Senior Project Manager across a variety of sectors and managing complex technical projects. Candidate to provide details on how the projects were complex and technical.
  • Demonstrated experience that includes at least one (1) significant multi-million-dollar project (containing multiple concurrent and inter-related projects). Candidate to list budget and project details.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating complex and highly technical concepts to technical and non-technical people (both written and verbal) with various levels within an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams comprised of employees and contracted resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Cyber-security projects.

  • Proven record of achievement as a Project Manager demonstrating experience in successfully working in a multiple project environment with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  •  Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager on one (1) or more successful information security projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and implementing projects that involved major changes to business systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience successfully managing: team resources, systems development, estimating effort and costs, and planning and scheduling project activities.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing or overseeing the development of project documents (e.g. status/progress reports, detailed budget, resource estimates, project plans and proposals, strategies, project close-out documents including transition to operations and “lessons learned”).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating people, encourage collaborative teamwork in an environment with internal and external stakeholders, conducting presentations, effectively leading meetings and facilitating workgroups with diverse business interests to reach consensus.
  • Demonstrated technical background with experience communicating technical concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by experience working with all levels within an organization and understanding business priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple information security projects is considered an asset.
  • Experience using, or certification with a change management methodology, while not required, is considered an asset.
  • Experience with establishing and leading a project through the project governance framework is considered an asset.
